Many of you become more active in spring and summer. My office Chiropractic see more patients complaining of injuries and strains as a result of yard work, gardening or outdoor recreation such as cycling and baseball.
My husband and I enjoy gardening. We promote the basics of permaculture, which is constantly culture, conceived as a garden revolution. Permaculture ethics are:

...Gardening is not only very relaxing and productive hobby, but we also enjoy seeing the progress each year, such as plants and flowers and still fill the landscape. We get excited when it's time to start seeds for cabbage and radishes. We planted the first year we moved in, so the asparagus is ready and we get to pick it up for the first time this godine.Češnjak to be planted in the fall is coming in strong. Today, a storm passing through the Midwest. This means we planted potatoes are getting a good watering.
...1 When using a rake or hoe, do not forget to pull it straight toward you, instead of twisting your body so that it pulls to the side. This twisting motion can cause back strain.
2 Consider investing in a chair or bench, so you can sit on the patio instead of bending at the waist and back strain. You can flip through a five gallon bucket on which it sits. Raised bed gardening can help to reduce back strain.
3 Engage (sucking in) your abdominal muscles when you lift your bag of mulch or pressing the wheel barrow. Strong abs will help prevent damage to the rear.
4 Use the tool to dig out the weeds instead of yanking or pulling a twisting or pulling motion. You are likely to be full of dandelion root, and if you dig it out so it will not return and will not hurt your neck or back.
5 When you come in from the garden or a ball game, if you feel like you May have strained or pulled something, use ice. You can ice the painful area for 10 minutes every hour. It can rip off the pain at its root. If you use ice for longer than 10 to 15 minutes, which can actually irritate the sore area. Using heat to the injury can actually slow healing.
While it is true that gardening is not always physically relaxing, if you look at five proposals, it can be a lot less physically demanding on your body and, as always with nature, spiritually rewarding.
