I Cannot Believe That This Is Health Food



Over the years I have developed a sweet but healthy snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth hungry. I truly believe that deprivation only leads to disaster, but on the other hand, this mantra is taken too literally, and shall also be free, it is also a recipe for failure. These snacks strike a balance between indulgence, portion control and healthy ingredients. Even better, they are quick and easy!

Five Sweet, Healthy Snacks

1 Peanut butter and banana sandwich.

for an excellent energy boost. Using 2 slices whole wheat bread. Slice half a banana (or less) layer on top 1 tablespoon (or less) natural peanut butter (natural does not contain hydrogenated oils). Sprinkle with cinnamon.

2 Yogurt parfait

This is a filling, refreshing, and just as good as ice cream on summer day. Use 1 / 2 cup plain fat-free yogurt. Slice 1 / 2 apple, sprinkled with raisins, walnuts and a little flax meal. * Can be replaced with fresh cheese!

4 Dried Fruit Trail Mix

Great for energy, healthy fats and fiber. 1 / 4 cup dried fruit (apricots, strawberries, cherries), 1 / 4 cup almonds, and spraying grapes and shelled sunflower seeds.

5 Grains

can be seen as junk cereals / sweet treat. Never eat it for breakfast, but will see it as a snack. It satisfies the craving, is fortified with vitamins, and when served with skim milk adds protein and nutrients.

It is possible to eat healthy food and enjoy it too!
