Soy - Health Food Or Anti-Food?

Soy in the diet has been implicated as an increase in belly fat! Are there any real "benefits" of soy-based foods such as soy milk, soy protein and tofu?

In the food giants and government agencies would like to believe that soy products are "healthy food" and a suitable substitute for meat, poultry and dairy products. On careful though, it was shown that many of their offerings include value-added dairy-products and contribute to mineral deficiencies in humans.

Soy beans contain anti-nutrients such as goitrogens (substances that depress thyroid function) and some of the highest levels of plant lectin is a natural insecticide - "Poison", which can cause severe allergic problems in humans.

Because of the toxic potential of the strain has never been regarded as "food" in Asia until the discovery of the fermentation process during China's Zhou Dynasty, sometime around 1000BC which gave rise to the use of soy sauce and miso (fermented UN, beans cause digestive problems and gastric distress). Centuries later it was found that if soybean puree is mixed with plaster of Paris or Epsom salts semi, chewing cheese (tofu) resulted. But it was not until around the 11th century who grows soybeans on any level in China.

has a high content of soy protein and committed vegetarians that seemed to announce a suitable replacement for meat. While fermentation eliminates some of the beans with an anti-nutrient no amount of cooking and processing removes all of the soybean lectin or its byproducts. Many people suffer reactions after eating a meat substitute made from soybeans.

Despite the widely proclaimed disinformation about the "benefits" of soy, in no time at all is considered a health food in Asia! Soy was originally used in western cultivation as rotation crops for animal feed and also showed a good fertilizer nutrients depleted vitality back soil.

modern "milk" a form of soy contains phytic acid which blocks the intake of essential minerals like calcium, iron and zinc, and promotes the leaching of calcium from the human skeleton. Zinc (mineral intelligence) is essential for optimal brain development and functioning of the nervous system. It plays a crucial role in the human reproductive system and is important for protein synthesis and collagen formation. It is also involved in blood sugar control mechanism which ensures protection against diabetes.

Neither soy milk or cow's milk contains a "long chain fatty acids, essential for human brain-development. Not only breast milk. However, coconut oil and red meat can provide medium-chain fatty acids that the human system can converted into long-chain form easy enough.

Traditionally, Chinese and Japanese drink only small amounts of fermented tofu, miso and soy sauce as part of the rich in minerals, fish-broth "starter", followed by a serving of meat or fish. When soy products like tofu consumed with meat, the mineral-blocking effects of the phytates in soy are greatly reduced. However, substitute tofu for meat, poultry or fish can lead to serious mineral deficiencies in the human system.

Soybeans are rich in calcium and "added" calcium fortified soy milk is usually calcium carbonate, which the human system can not handle very well. For your health it is better to be well-absorbed supplement like calcium or AlgaeCal Orotate.

To make your artificial products, processors of soy paste mixed with alkaline solution (usually petrol derivatives) to dissolve the bean fiber which is then stimulated and separated by acid wash and, finally, neutralizirajudrugi weakly alkaline solution in which the toxin called lysinoalanine is formed. Followed curds then spray-dried at high temperatures to produce powder called soy protein isolate (SPI). Nitrites, which are potent carcinogens, are formed during spray-sušenja.Visoke temperature, high pressure extrusion process is then converted into SPI textured vegetable protein (TVP). With the addition of artificial flavors, fats, preservatives, sweeteners, emulsifiers and synthetic nutrients SPI is used in most soy foods that imitate meat, poultry and dairy products as well as the baby formulas and some brands of soy milk.

In spite of the refinery's best efforts to remove much of the anti-nutrients and toxins from soybean their final offer is still manufactured "food-substitute" âEUR 'far from natural or health promotion? However, SPI and TVP have been used extensively in school lunch programs, commercial baked goods, and even some diet drinks. Since it is much cheaper than animal protein and has infinite shelf life, textured vegetable protein rapidly incorporated into many fast food offerings. They are highly promoted in third world countries and form the basis of many food give away programs.

Many medically advanced countries have banned the use of soy in infant formulas, not only because of the phytic acid, which causes mineral deficiencies, but also because of high levels of trypsin inhibitor and soy phyto-estrogens. Trypsin inhibitors interfere with protein digestion, resulting in stunted growth, while phytoestrogens from soy, touted by the manufacturers of soy as beneficial for menopausal women, who are, but have the potential to cause infertility and promote breast cancer in younger women. And, just as serious, the consumption of children is associated with auto-immune thyroid disease.

It's amazing how much false science can put a positive spin on anti-nutrients for the financial gain of a few, causing big problems for many! We need to question any and all information presented by the producers of food and get back to basics in our daily diet.
