Free Online Health Education - The Answer to Optimising Health Worldwide

In my eight years experience as a health professional I truly believe that our health is the number one tool that everyone can own and free online health education is essential. Unfortunately, we often take for granted until it is threatened, whether to develop back pain, feeling tired, or suffer significant health events like heart attack.

Although genetics and other factors can not be controlled with its role, we have a great amount of control over our health and energy. Here are some interesting statistics, heart disease is 60-70% can be prevented (Koop, 2002), 80% of strokes are preventable (Michel / USC 2001), 60-80% of cancer is preventable (Rosenthal 1998), and type 2 diabetes is 90% preventable (Hu, 2002).

The main factors we can control what is included in our bodies, what to eat and drink, what we think, how we move, how to rest and recover. Prolonged stress, toxins in our food and home, lack of exercise and relaxation, poor food choices, disturbed sleep, lack of education and motivation are common factors that lead to poor health. Free on-line health education can address many of these issues.

Our bodies are much more dynamic then we often give them credit for. Our nerve endings in the brain respond to the input and encouragement over time, our bones can adapt and become stronger with the load, relaxation can accelerate healing and regeneration, and most of our skin cells are replaced every six weeks. Optimal inputs lead to optimal results, and we have more control than you think.
