Health Benefits of Rooibos Tea

It's that time of year again, and I'm stocked for fall and winter with my thoroughly researched and tried home remedies for all kinds of diseases.

One of the best things on my list that I swear by the Rooibos tea (pronounced Roy-boss). I discovered Rooibos tea a few years ago and it worked wonders for me, in terms of my chronic sinus issues, allergies, colds, etc. Since the tea drinking this amazing, I just need an antibiotic once in the last 2 1 / 2 years, which is incredibly, as I was usually the antibiotic 2-3 times a year during the fall and winter months for sinus infections and colds.

Rooibos tea is very rich in antioxidants and flavonoids. Flavonoids have anti-inflammatory activity and reduce allergic reactions and histamine release. For me, not to over-the-counter medicine and just drinking a hot cup of tea, naturally sweet and clear to me that it is so great. I am not in any over-the-counter drugs and love that you do not need them anymore ..... knocking on wood as I type

Rooibos tea is also recommended for those suffering from stomach problems, indigestion, stomach ulcers, constipation, etc. It has antispasmodic properties that relieves stomach cramps and similar problems. It's also safe to give children for colic! Is not that amazing! Any of you out there with a baby desperately would love to try this I am sure. I was lucky enough that my children had colic and screamed just because they are in a bad mood or spoiled rotten.

Rooibos tea contains no caffeine also has a soothing effect on the nervous system. It is highly recommended for those suffering with insomnia, headaches, mild anxiety and depression.

I'm telling you, this tea is also great for just about everything. It's even great for your skin. You can actually make Rooibos mask and apply it to your face. A mask is a mask is often used honey Rooibos. After I make a cup of Rooibos, I get the same amount of organic raw honey (which is antibacterial and great for your skin) and mix with Rooibos tea leaves and apply it to your face. I love it! It is very soothing. You can be creative and mix Rooibos tea leaves everything you want. You can get many different recipes for Googling Rooibos tea face mask

if Rooibos tea can keep me out of doctors offices as it is still of antibiotics and over-the-counter medications, I will drink it forever. Also, I know I can always count on him for a good night's sleep, stomach issues, or any anxiety I might have a great face mask! Talk about versatile!
